Lonar’s family stands for longevity, high production and
top-class conformation for generations. Considering
that the really great bulls of the breed are missing in the
Malta EX 94 dynasty, this underlines even more clearly
the special position of Lonar. Due to these special bloodlines,
Lonar is in internationally high demand as a sire of
sons and already demanded attention with his first sons.
The stylish Lonar daughters are characterized by their
frame and very good dairy type. Of medium strength,
they show sufficient depth and length in the body that
they will have clearly developed in lactations to come.
The rumps are somewhat narrow but of a perfect angle,
resulting in very good calving ease for his daughters.
Rear leg angle, as well as set, can be considered correct
and the fluent locomotion of the juvenile animals is
excellent. Other advantages in the transmission for feet
and legs of Lonar are the closed feet with the high foot
angles and the outstanding hock and bone quality.
Lonar’s transmission for udders is also impressive. Rear
udders are highly attached and are of adequate width,
equipped with an outstandingly strong suspensory ligament.
The firmly attached fore udders have sufficient
length and lots of harmony. The picture is completed
by very nice texture and a high udder floor as well as
optimally placed teats to give a well-balanced quality
udder.
He is an absolute fitness specialist with his really high
values for udder health and longevity. However, Lonar
brings clearly more style and elegance than it is common
in this crowded bull segment. Moreover, he transmits
good milk yield and positive protein percentages so
that this outcross sire will still be one of the most popular
German bulls in the future.
