Authors are both past winners of All-Japan Judo and Olympic Games and other international judo contests. Both are instructors of judo as professors of Physical Education at Tokai University. Instead of thinking of judo as simply a self defense technique, it is considered as a technique of spirit that the authors hope will contribute to international peace and good will.
