Building on our Expertise
Blackwell’s Welcomes…
Since the beginning of the year, Blackwell’s has welcomed
a number of key new personnel who bring a wealth
of industry knowledge and experience to add to our
company’s expertise in the library services sector and
further consolidate our on-going service developments.
Wilf Mulliner joined our Senior
Management Team earlier in the year as
Supply Chain Manager. Responsible for
our warehouse processes from receipt
of books, to cataloguing and physical
processing, through to invoicing,
packing, despatch and delivery. Wilf has
a broad industry background and the
changes he has implemented since his arrival have already
resulted in improvements to service levels and supply times.
Neil MacKinnon started with us in June
as our Technical Services Librarian.
Neil’s principal professional interest
is cataloguing and his career spans
technical services in academic and
public libraries with senior posts with
library system suppliers, SirsiDynix
and Ex Libris. Working with special
and academic libraries in Europe and the UK in library
system support, project planning, system implementation,
training and software development, he is well placed to
understand the challenges libraries currently face.
Isabelle Staunton started in mid July as
our Continuations Manager and brings
with her many years’ experience as Head
of Approval Plan and New Title Services
with Erasmus, Paris. Her considerable
knowledge of the library services
industry across approvals, standing
order and journal supply, together with
a strong customer services and key account management
focus further strengthens our management team.
Henry Gott continues in his role as UK
Account Manager and has also taken on
the role of eBook Specialist for us. Henry
has a strong academic and industry
background with a PhD in English and
Comparative Literary Studies from
Warwick University and ten years’
bookselling experience. Henry is looking
forward to working with our library customers on their
eBook acquisition processes and requirements.
Collection Manager
