3 Check vehicle level at the rear axle via the<br />

rear axle shaft inclination.<br />

4.1 Use STAR DIAGNOSIS to calibrate vehicle<br />

ride height<br />

a<br />

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out<br />

fault memory<br />

5.1 Check headlamp setting and correct if<br />

necessary<br />

o Fit measurement sensor (086a) onto<br />

spring control arm (17) between the bumps<br />

cast onto the spring control arm (arrows) and<br />

save each measured value.<br />

i Vehicle with metal springs:<br />

If the front ride height is outside of<br />

Replace the springs or the rubber spring<br />

i Observe maximum permissible difference<br />

in vehicle level between left and right sides of<br />

the vehicle<br />

i The specified test tolerance applies only<br />

when checking the vehicle level and not for<br />

calibration.<br />
