3. Any student member is eligible for nomination as an officer of the Leadership Team who; (a) meets the college’s eligibility for student office holding which consists of a 2.5 average; and (b) fulfills the qualification as set up by the Leadership Team. 4. The time from selection through the end of the semester will be used as a period of officer training and transition. ARTICLE VII – Hazing/Non-Discrimination 1. ______________ and all members thereof pledge to take a stand against Hazing in this organization, and will report hazing to the proper authorities. 2. ______________ will not discriminate against members for any reason, including but not limited to gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, social-economic status, nationality, or any other reason. ARTICLE VIII – Expulsion of Members Any member may be removed from the organization with just cause. For this to occur a complaint must be brought to the Leadership Team by any member/individual. A hearing will be held where cases can be pled. After this, a 67% vote will remove a member from the organization. ARTICLE XI – AMENDMENTS Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed to the voting membership by majority vote of the Leadership Team or by petition signed by 1/10 of the voting membership. Amendments shall be declared adopted which are presented at 2 general meetings and receive a majority favorable vote at both meetings by the voting member present. ARTICLE X – BY-LAWS By-Laws, not inconsistent with this constitution, may be adopted or amended by 2/3 vote of the regular members present at any regular or special meetings, providing the By-Laws are submitted in writing at least one week previously at either a regular or special meeting of the general membership
