2013 Trick <strong>Tray</strong>, April 12, 2013<br />
Dear Parent:<br />
Our annual <strong>Tricky</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> will take place on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Assorted donated prizes are displayed on<br />
various tables, tickets are sold, the participants decide what prizes they would like to ‘bid’ on, and they drop their tickets into the<br />
bucket associated with the prizes. The winning ticket is drawn later in the evening. It’s a night of fun and excitement.<br />
What can you do to support this event<br />
• Send in monetary donations that will be used to purchase prizes (make checks payable to: UC Parent Guild)<br />
• Donate a gift certificate for stores, restaurants, or places of fun and interest<br />
• Donate tickets for a sporting event, theatre tickets, etc.<br />
• Donate a NEW gift item to be used as a prize. This year we have taken the time to register at Target and Bed,<br />
Bath, & Beyond in order to make it easier for families to donate. You can access the registries by going to<br />
the websites or to the stores and typing "<strong>Union</strong> <strong>Catholic</strong> <strong>Tricky</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>" on the registry link. Along with the login<br />
instructions for the online registries you will also find a "Wish List" of items that could be purchased for<br />
prize baskets on the reverse side of this order form.<br />
Volunteers are needed for our weekly meetings. Please see additional insert with meeting dates..<br />
Where do I send the donated items<br />
• Fill out the ‘GIFT DONATION’ tear-off section below and return with your contribution to the Main Office -- All<br />
donations received by March 5 th entitles the donor to receive an extra bid sheet!<br />
What about tickets<br />
• Admission Tickets are $20.00 (this price includes admission, one sheet of bid tickets, coffee and a chance at a door<br />
prize) and are sold to those over 18 years of age only.<br />
• Admission Tickets will be available to UC parents beginning February 6th – Fill out the TICKET ORDER tear-off<br />
section below and return to the Main Office or stop by the Main Office between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.<br />
• Admission Tickets will be offered to the general public beginning February 13th.<br />
• Tickets that are used to ‘bid’ on the table prizes will be sold the night of the event, including the ever popular ‘starter<br />
packet of tickets’ (the packet includes the minimum amount of tickets for each prize table)<br />
All Tables will be Reserved. Table reservations are for tables of 8 or 14 people. Doors will open promptly at 5:30 p.m. We will<br />
start calling the winning tickets promptly at 7:30 p.m. Please be aware, that in compliance with NJ gaming statutes, no one under<br />
the age of 18 may be present at a table once the auction begins, We appreciate your understanding in this regard.<br />
