Design and Synthesize new Coordination Materials.
Synthesize new Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for carbon dioxide capture.
Study hydrogen Storage in Metal Organic Frameworks and Zeolite-like materials.
Study porphyrin encapsulation in MOFs for heterogeneous catalysis.
Perform neutron scattering in Los Alamos (New Mexico) and Oak ridge National (Tennessee) labs.
Determine the amount of ions’ uptake using Atomic Absorption instruments
Use NOVA/Autosorb Quantachrome for heat of adsorption and isotherms of gases in MOFs.
Use IR/Raman/Mass spectrometry.
Analyze hybrid materials through X-ray powder diffraction.
