The Board of School Directors
Elected by the citizens, Pennsylvania’s public school
board members represent their communities’ beliefs
and values when making decisions about the operation
of school districts. These community representatives
give of their time and talent without compensation to
provide a high-quality educational program.
The nine members of the school board are advocates
of public education. They seek to ensure that the
standards of achievement are met, preparing children
to be productive members of society.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lower Moreland Township School
District is to foster individual excellence in a nurturing
environment by integrating a dedicated staff, an
innovative curriculum, and community resources,
while promoting respect for self and others.
All students will acquire the knowledge, skills, values
and attitudes necessary to become life-long learners
and citizens who will think critically, act responsibly,
communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a
global community.
