The War of Troy, the most magnificent war of the history started as a
result of Paris’ love for Helen, Menelaus’ wife. When
Menelaus attacked to defend his wife’s honor, this great war
between Greeks and Trojans appeared on the scene of history. The
first nine years of the war consisted of both war in Troy and war
against the neighboring regions. The Greeks realized that Troy was
being supplied by its neighboring kingdoms, so Greeks were sent to
defeat these areas.
