COUNCIL MINUTES

In any event, having regard to the current application, it is considered that there is scope
to increase the amount of landscaping in the front setback area, without unduly affecting
vehicle access. Accordingly, the following condition can be added to the decision:-
(iv)
landscaping in the front setback area be increased to achieve 60 percent of the
primary street setback area, as required under Town Planning Scheme Policy 3.1
Streetscape, Clause 6.2.10.
COMMITTEE AND ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
Moved by Cr MacRae, seconded by Cr King
That, in accordance with Part 4 of the Town of Cambridge Town Planning Scheme No.
1, Council APPROVES the application for additions and alterations submitted by
Shannon Kelly at Lot 89 (No. 28) Tranmore Way, City Beach, as shown on the plans
dated 31 October, subject to the following conditions:-
(i)
the carport to remain open on all sides. No solid door is to be installed;
(ii)
the surface finish of boundary walls facing the adjoining property to the east to
be rendered, painted or face brickwork to the satisfaction of the Town;
(iii) the landscaping areas, as shown on the approved plan, to be installed and
reticulated and thereafter maintained to the satisfaction of the Town.

That a further clause be added to the motion as follows:-
(iv)
landscaping in the front setback area be increased to achieve 60 percent of the
primary street setback area, as required under Town Planning Scheme Policy 3.1
Streetscape, Clause 6.2.10 and as indicated on the plans.
