ProPlex <strong>PowerData</strong> PCCAT5EP3X2.5 eliminates the need for banding<br />

data and power cables together. The cable comprises CAT5e data and<br />

3x2.5 mm 2 power, combined in a single <strong>figure</strong>-8 <strong>configuration</strong> – like<br />

a zip cord. The <strong>figure</strong> 8 <strong>configuration</strong> reduces electronic interference<br />

between power and data lines and also breaks out easily, without the<br />

inconvenient sleeving necessary when power and data conductors<br />

are combined under one jacket. The verified CAT5e data cable<br />

component contains four twisted pairs of 0.25 mm 2 stranded cores<br />

in an SF/UTP structure with foam insulation, Kevlar strengthening<br />

members, with foil and braid shielding. The power cable component<br />

contains three 2.5 mm 2 XLPE-insulated cores. Both cables are<br />

jacketed with a UV-resistant FRPVC compound. PCCAT5EP3X2.5<br />

complies with IEC 61156-6 and EIA/TIA 568B.2 work area cable<br />

standards, plus European Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS).<br />

Power and data cables can be<br />

easily split to any length.<br />

reinforced with glue-filled shrink.
