This seminar is open to the public and offers paralegals 6.0 CLE hours, including
1.0 ethics hour. The National Association of Legal Assistants and the National
Federation of Paralegal Associations have each approved this seminar.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the
seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates
not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business
days.
CD/Manual Package: An audio recording of this seminar is available for $269
(including shipping). Allow five weeks from the seminar date for delivery. Please

Faculty
Jeffrey Manganaro Associate at Todd & Weld, LLP, in Boston
Mr. Manganaro practices exclusively in family law. He received a B.A. degree from
Bowdoin College and a J.D. degree from New England School of Law (cum laude).
Mr. Manganaro was selected by his peers as a Massachusetts Super Lawyers “Rising
Star”, as published in Boston Magazine in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He is a member of
the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
Lenore Pellani Case Manager at Boston Law Collaborative, LLC, in Boston
Ms. Pellani has been a paralegal more than 25 years. Her experience includes
construction, healthcare, securities, commercial litigation. She has concentrated on
domestic relations matters since 1993. Ms. Pellani has a B.A. degree from Tyler School
of Art and an MFA degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Michael G. Xavier Associate at Prince Lobel Glovsky & Tye in Boston
Mr. Xavier is a trial lawyer concentrating in all areas of family law litigation and probate
litigation, restraining order hearings, criminal matters, reproductive technology, and
non-traditional marriages. He has lectured at Suffolk University Law School on same
sex marriage, divorce and parentage issues. In October 2010 and 2011 Mr. Xavier
was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Massachusetts Super Lawyer magazine. He is a
graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Northeastern University School of Law.
Mary R. LaCivita Of Counsel to Orsi, Arone, Rothenberg, Iannuzzi & Turner, LLP
Ms. LaCivita is an attorney in Needham who has concentrated her practice in family
law litigation, maintaining a solo practice in Eastern Massachusetts since September
2010. Her practice includes complex and smaller divorce, paternity, modification and
enforcement matters, restraining orders and prenuptial agreements. She is a mentor
for the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project for Battered Women. She also
volunteers regularly as Lawyer for the Day in Plymouth and Norfolk Counties.
Ms. LaCivita received a B.A. degree in History from Boston University (cum laude), and
a J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School (cum laude). She has been named as
one of Massachusetts’s “Rising Star Super Lawyers” in family law by the publishers of
Law & Politics and the publishers of Boston Magazine.
Dawn A. MacGregor Law Office of Dawn A. MacGregor, PC in Hingham
Ms. MacGregor concentrates her practice in domestic relations/family law matters. Prior
to starting her own practice in 2010, Ms. MacGregor was a domestic relations associate
at several Boston firms, including Kates & Barlow, PC (2009-2011), Brown Rudnick, LLP
(2004-2009), and White, Inker & Aronson, PC (2001-2004). In addition, Ms. MacGregor
served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court
(1999-2001). She is a graduate of New England School of Law (J.D.) and Bentley College
(B.S.-Finance).
Karen A. Richards Paralegal at Boston Law Collaborative, LLC, in Boston
Ms. Richards is a paralegal with Boston Law Collaborative, LLC (BLC). She received a
bachelor’s degree in legal studies and her graduate certificate from the University of
Massachusetts Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. Prior to working at BLC, Karen
worked as a paralegal for 16 years and recently served as a mediator in the Brighton
District Court, where she helped to resolve small claims and civil cases.
