<strong>Creekside</strong> Y <strong>Group</strong> <strong>Exercise</strong> Schedule<br />

Class Descriptions<br />

Cardio<br />

Indoor Cycling<br />

Bring your bike riding indoors for this cycling program<br />

performed on the Kaiser M3 stationary cycle. It simulates<br />

riding positions and terrain used in outdoor cycling. Heart rate<br />

monitor recommended. Great calorie burner and cardio<br />

conditioning.<br />

Belly Dancing<br />

An exciting art form that not only tones muscles & increases<br />

flexibility but is spiritual & uplifting, It's the beautiful art <strong>of</strong><br />

Belly Dance. You will learn how to isolate and move your body<br />

parts in different ways. it's a lot <strong>of</strong> fun and great work out.<br />

Bring your scarf to tie your hips with it and dance to exotic<br />

music.<br />

Strength<br />

BODYPUMP<br />

Weight training exercises designed to build muscle endurance<br />

in all the major muscle groups. Light to moderate weight is<br />

used performing high repetitions. All levels.<br />

Mind and Body<br />

BODYFLOW<br />

This unique workout is a blend <strong>of</strong> yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates. It<br />

will build strength, flexibility and balance. You will leave feeling<br />

calm and centered. All levels.<br />

Yoga<br />

Tone the body and tune the mind. Energize your body as you<br />

perform moves to enhance balance, flexibility and strength.<br />

Level 1-Introduces poses<br />

Level 2-Challenge focuses on strength, endurance and more<br />

advanced poses.<br />

Active Older Adults<br />

Silver Sneakers®<br />

Have fun and move with the music while increasing muscular<br />

strength and range <strong>of</strong> movement. Hand-held weights, tubing<br />

with handles and a ball are <strong>of</strong>fered for resistance and a chair is<br />

used for seated and/or standing support.<br />

Boot Camp<br />

Take it to the next level with this exciting, high-intensity<br />

class. You will be athletically challenged as you perform relay<br />

drills and athletic moves. Towel and water bottle needed.<br />

Modifications given for all levels. Please note this class may<br />

take place outdoors.<br />

Maximum Core Strength<br />

Strengthen your body while challenging your core for a totally<br />

balanced workout. Use weights, bands, body bars and tubing.<br />
