Winter Interclub
Dates as follows for men and women:
Round 1 & 2 Sunday July 1 st
Round 3 & 4 Sunday July 8th
Round 5 Sunday July 15th
Winter Interclub QF/SF/F Sunday July 22 nd
Entry closes with Auckland bowls 13 th June.
Please indicate your interest before then, so we
know how many teams to enter.

Hong Kong Pairs Mixed
Starts Saturday 9th June-1pm
All entries in by 12.45pm sharp- so please don’t
be late..
The cost is $5 per person.
If there are an odd number of entries the last
team entry will miss out! There will be no byes.
Single entries can be taken and we will endeavour
to pair you up if we can (but cannot guarantee).
We will keep a separate list on the day so people
can see and hopefully partner up.
Two games of 1 hour 20 minutes shall be played
Tuesday Indoor bowls Mixed
Starts Tuesday 5 th June 10am start entry fee
$2. Bring your lunch and 50 cent for a cuppa.
Saturday Indoor bowls Mixed
Starts Saturday 3th June, names in by
12.45pm entry fee $2 and 50 cents for a
cuppa.
Tuesday Outdoor bowls Mixed
Started Tuesday 22 May any combination
Triples 9.30 start.
Please put names on board.
Please note You will need to bring your own
lunch for the first two weeks, after that soup
and French stick will be available to purchase

Life without Committees
Have you ever thought when you come down to
play
If things weren’t the same as they are today
If the car park was covered in rubbish and
clutter
And cans and weeds were clogging the gutter
If the flower bed plants were choked and
signing
All the flowers and shrub were dried up and
dying
Into the clubrooms with dirt on the floor
Nothing cleaned up from the night before
Un-emptied ashtrays you’d soon get picky
With tables unwashed all smelly and sticky
Up for a drink nobody’s serving
The bar not getting the clean it’s deserving
Glasses not clean with chipping and cracking
The service and hygiene both of them lacking
Up for a raffle the board is not clean
Nowhere around is there chalk to be seen
Out comes you number but there’s no surprises
There is no volunteer to arrange any prizes
Look at the board to see where we play
But it seems there been another delay
There used to be one other place to look
But no one has bothered to produce, this year’s
book
Before we go out let’s put on some cream
But the darn thing is empty and the toilet
unclean
There is no match committee so arrange your
own teams
Just think of the shambles there’ll be on the
greens
Get your own jacks and mats you’ll need them
to play
And put them back at the end of the day
Don’t call an umpire he’s never been paid
All decisions by you will have to be made
There was nobody there to work out the draw
So who can we get now to work out the score
Who was it arranged all the raffles and meat
Delivered it, cool stored it, ready to eat
Who sets up the pokies, banks all the cash
Pulls up the flag and bags up the trash
