The FVS-20 provides a convenient
stepping location for high placed crew
cabs. It places the stepping location
7.75” below its mount spot and outward
4.625”. It has a 20” x 4.75” stepping
surface and only requires a 4” x 21”
mounting surface. Simply adding this
bolt-on step can eliminate a potential
safety risk without the cost of custom
fabrication.

3094 QUIC-STEP Horizontal Vehicle Step
The HVS-1 meets NFPA 1901-09 requirements
The HVS-1 is designed specifically for use on fire and emergency
vehicles and is made to withstand the abuse. When installed the
step will automatically come straight out when the door is opened
and close when the door closes, or can be controlled by a switch.
It can be retrofitted onto existing apparatus.
The HVS-1 is designed to sustain a static
load of 500 lbs. This should be taken into
account in determining strength required
of mounting surface.
The open diamond pattern stepping surface is 15” wide x 9.5”
deep. The surface is a non-skid surface to provide traction and
safety.
The HVS-1 only requires 20” wide x 11” deep mounting surface
allowing it to fit almost anywhere.
The HVS-1 should be spaced 3” below
mounting surface to clear components.
