Adjustable shelving components from ZICO let you create and partition s<strong>to</strong>rage space <strong>to</strong><br />

meet your needs. They’re designed for sturdy, long-term <strong>use</strong> in fire apparatus, ambulances,<br />

utility, and rescue vehicles.<br />

Used in various configurations, they offer almost limitless options for s<strong>to</strong>rage of <strong>to</strong>ols,<br />

equipment, parts, clothing and other vital needs. The dimensions of the space can be easily<br />

changed, and various components can be added or deleted as needed. Mounting hardware<br />

is supplied (ABC only).<br />

The components include Adjustable Base Channels (ABC), Adjustable Slide Brackets<br />

(ASB) and Vertical Slide Brackets (VSB). The base channel can be bolted or welded <strong>to</strong> the<br />

walls, floor, or ceiling of the compartment. Components come in standard 6-ft. lengths and<br />

can be cut <strong>to</strong> desired size.<br />

The ASB accepts plywood sheets <strong>to</strong> 3/4” thickness (not supplied) and can be <strong>use</strong>d with or<br />

without base channels. Wood or metal partitions can be bolted directly <strong>to</strong> VSB.<br />

For simplicity and versatility, try the ZICO way <strong>to</strong> keep your compartments in order.<br />

ABC <strong>use</strong>d with angle <strong>to</strong> support shelf<br />

- Base channel bolted<br />

or welded <strong>to</strong> compartment wall with aluminum angle attached.<br />

Versatile positioning of shelf provides more efficient <strong>use</strong> of<br />

compartment space. Shelf material may be attached directly <strong>to</strong> the<br />

upper surface of the angle. Mount horizontally in compartment<br />

and attach WALKAWAY brackets or QUIC-STRAPS directly <strong>to</strong><br />

channel.<br />

ABC Base Channel/ASB for horizontal mounting - Base channel<br />

may be bolted (groove provided) or welded <strong>to</strong> compartment wall.<br />

Slide bracket held securely in place with 5/16” square head bolt.<br />

Each bolt supports a weight of 250 lbs. Plywood sheets (up <strong>to</strong> 3/4”<br />

thick) slide easily within slide bracket.<br />

ASB mounted alone for vertical divider - Separate large compartment<br />

vertically as required <strong>to</strong> mount or support equipment. Mount<br />

horizontally <strong>to</strong> <strong>use</strong> as shelf. Equipment can be mounted directly on<br />

the plywood sheet <strong>to</strong> slide out for easy access. Groove provided for<br />

location of holes for attaching <strong>to</strong> compartment. Slot 7/8” wide <strong>to</strong><br />

accept 3/4” thick plywood sheet.<br />

VSB bolted <strong>to</strong> wood or metal sheet for vertical divider or slide<br />

out <strong>to</strong>ol s<strong>to</strong>rage - Verticle slide bracket is designed for <strong>use</strong> with the<br />

base channel in a vertical position. Aluminum plate or plywood<br />

can be attached <strong>to</strong> the vertical slide. Ideal for <strong>use</strong> in long “through”<br />

compartments or rescue vehicle compartments <strong>to</strong> hold small hand<br />

<strong>to</strong>ols or hard <strong>to</strong> s<strong>to</strong>re long handled <strong>to</strong>ols.<br />
