The “EZ-OUT ” for <strong>use</strong> with 60 minute SCBA<br />
cylinders.<br />
The “EZ-OUT” SCBA bracket meets NFPA 1901-09<br />
standards for SCBA containment. The solid strap and<br />
adjustment buckles on the far side allow <strong>to</strong> easily create<br />
a snug fit every time. The solid strap allows for a tighter<br />
fit and smoother release while the adjustment buckles<br />
allow the <strong>use</strong>r <strong>to</strong> easily reach in and pull the strap tight<br />
once it is locked in place. The firm stalk on the release<br />
holds it in place so it is always in position for the <strong>use</strong>r<br />
<strong>to</strong> pull.<br />
The simplistic design allows for it <strong>to</strong> work with many<br />
different brands and styles of SCBA with minimal<br />
or no set up change. For 60 minute bottles, order the<br />
appropriate model below along with separate line item<br />
NEF. This will provide a bracket with a longer footplate<br />
<strong>to</strong> accommodate 60 minute bottles. For 30 or 45 minute<br />
bottles, please see page 1-7.<br />
Simply place the SCBA against the seats with the SCBA<br />
valve sitting on the footplate and wrap the strap around<br />
the bottle and lock it in place. Lastly, pull the two straps<br />
on the other side <strong>to</strong> snug up the strap. Releasing the<br />
SCBA is done by pulling the lanyard straight out, then<br />
leaning forward and standing up.<br />
The bracket consists of backplate, short footplate,<br />
two non-mar double-coated seats and our “EZ-OUT”<br />
adjustable strap assembly. The backplate and footplate<br />
are black thermoplastic coated for years of trouble-free<br />
service.<br />
