The “EZ-OUT ” is an upgraded strapping system
for the ULLH that is more user friendly and still
economical.
The “EZ-OUT” SCBA bracket meets NFPA 1901-09
standards for SCBA containment. The solid strap and
adjustment buckles on the far side allow to easily create a
snug fit every time. The solid strap allows for a tighter fit
and smoother release while the adjustment buckles allow
the user to easily reach in and pull the strap tight once it
is locked in place. The firm stalk on the release holds it in
place so it is always in position for the user to pull.
The simplistic design allows for it to work with many
different brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no
set up change. The standard “EZ-OUT” can handle 30
and 45 minute bottles. For 60 minute bottles see page 1-8
for complete information.
Simply place the SCBA against the seats with the SCBA
valve sitting on the footplate and wrap the strap around
the bottle and lock it in place. Lastly, pull the two straps
on the other side to snug up the strap. Releasing the
SCBA is done by pulling the lanyard straight out, then
leaning forward and standing up.
The bracket consists of backplate, short footplate,
two non-mar double-coated seats and our “EZ-OUT”
adjustable strap assembly. The backplate and footplate
are black thermoplastic coated for years of trouble-free
service.
