The “Load & Lock” is our most economical SCBA 

bracket that meets NFPA 1901-09 standards for 

SCBA containment. 

The simplistic design allows for it to work with many 

different brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no 

set up change. The standard ULLH can handle 30 and 45 

minute bottles. For 60 minute bottles see page 1-4 for 

complete information. 

Simply place the SCBA against the seats with the SCBA 

valve sitting on the footplate and wrap the strap around 

the bottle and lock it tightly in place. Releasing the SCBA 

is done by pulling the lanyard straight out, then leaning 

forward and standing up. 

The bracket consists of backplate, short footplate, two 

non-mar double-coated seats and our “Load & Lock” 

adjustable strap assembly. The backplate and footplate 

are black thermoplastic coated for years of trouble-free 

service.

The WALKAWAY spring clip brackets can only be used in

profile spring clip brackets were designed to work with air 

packs that have clearance issues with the standard length clips. 

The spring clips are 1” shorter than the standard high cycle 

clip and will not interfere with harness assembly or hoses. 

The low profile brackets are available in the high cycle coating 

and the full high cycle coating. 

The SCBA is held in place by the two spring clips. To put it in 

place simply place the valve of the SCBA on the footplate and

both the 50 and 75 anniversary Air-Pak ® from Scott. The

Now firefighters can quickly slip into breathing apparatus from a comfortable 

standing position, even when SCBA is stored in high compartments. 

Swing devices are made of high tensile strength aluminum and are virtually 

maintenance free. The basic swing is 11-1/2” W x 23” L. 

QUIC-SWING units are used most often in shallow high side compartments. 

If the compartment is 12-14” deep, you may need to add an extension plate 

to allow the device to clear the compartment lip. 

QUIC-PAC assembly may be attached to the model QSD for mounting on 

exterior of apparatus for protection from the elements.

For use when apparatus compartments are deep and space is at a premium. The QUIC-INDEX ® 

multiple bracket holder holds up to four SCBA units or spare cylinders securely in separate 

WALKAWAY brackets (ordered separately). 

As each SCBA or cylinder is removed from its bracket, the next is easily 

obtained by simply rotating the holder. The holder automatically stops 

and locks in the front position to present the next SCBA or cylinder for 

convenient removal. 

Basic unit, less brackets, measures 10” W x 10” D x 25-1/2” H. To 

calculate the width requirement, measure depth of complete SCBA or 

cylinder to be mounted, double measurement (one unit per side), and add 

6”. To calculate height required, add 1-1/2” to length of air cylinder or 

complete SCBA.

DESCRIPTION 

All components in contact with water are passivated stainless steel. The 

valve is easily mounted from outside the vehicle by one man. Ordinary 

valves require an additional person inside the tank while mounting, increasing 

installation costs. Any adjustments to the valve may be made 

from outside with the tank full of water. We have designed-in options to 

allow field or factory addition of electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic control 

systems. Pre-drilled pads are provided on top of the valve body for 

attachment of the electrical system. Chutes may be permanently attached 

or quickly slipped on in the field.

Electrically operated valves (3) off distributor box allows 

dumping on three sides (see photo above). 

Electrically operated valves may be controlled from the cab 

or near the valve...eliminates need for personnel to be in the 

highly dangerous position between the vehicle and the dump

Actuator may be attached to either the left or right side of

By providing a square flange on the discharge side of the valve, ZICO

Cushioned Back Rest Seat mounts above and behind existing seat cushions, 

providing the ultimate in firefighter comfort 

The seat frame is constructed of one-half inch plywood to assure extra strength 

and stability. Molded foam is applied to the frame and covered with a 48-ounce 

heavy-duty vinyl Prefixx finished fabric. 

The seat has been designed with short side supports to easily accommodate the 

hip harness assembly on your SCBA. This design keeps the harness recessed so 

as not to protrude into the firefighter’s back.

Seats are available in two widths (18” and 20”). The 20” wide seat is recommended 

for the Scott 4.5 and Interspiro SCBA due to the width of their SCBA 

cylinder support assembly.

is at a premium. The 12-gauge steel, PVC coated brackets are tough, 

durable and corrosion-resistant. Ideal for use in emergency and rescue

lowers “M” through “J” cylinders. Easily remove the empty 

cylinder and replace it with a full one. 

The unit operates off of a supplied 12v battery. A charger is provided

The Quic-Release Cylinder Lift keeps the cylinder secure once

Adjustable shelving components from ZICO let you create and partition storage space to 

meet your needs. They’re designed for sturdy, long-term use in fire apparatus, ambulances, 

utility, and rescue vehicles. 

Used in various configurations, they offer almost limitless options for storage of tools, 

equipment, parts, clothing and other vital needs. The dimensions of the space can be easily 

changed, and various components can be added or deleted as needed. Mounting hardware 

is supplied (ABC only). 

The components include Adjustable Base Channels (ABC), Adjustable Slide Brackets 

(ASB) and Vertical Slide Brackets (VSB). The base channel can be bolted or welded to the 

walls, floor, or ceiling of the compartment. Components come in standard 6-ft. lengths and 

can be cut to desired size. 

The ASB accepts plywood sheets to 3/4” thickness (not supplied) and can be used with or 

without base channels. Wood or metal partitions can be bolted directly to VSB.

The Utility Mounting System may be used to secure almost any item. Two types of straps are available, and each 

comes with one 2” footman’s loop for mounting. 

UTILITY MOUNTING STRAP

used in conjunction with variable straps to secure

These rugged wall cabinets safely hold SCBA in WALKAWAY ® brackets or model CMB cabinet mounting bracket. 

They offer protection from moisture, dust, tampering and contamination. Side mounted hinges allow doors to swing 

wide open for fast, easy donning of breathing apparatus. Each cabinet may be mounted on any vertical surface by 

fastening the WALKAWAY bracket or cabinet mounting bracket with the cabinet onto the mounting surface. 

Steel cabinet for single SCBA unit: Yellow epoxy-coated, heavy gauge steel construction provides years of 

trouble-free service. For a positive seal, spring-loaded, stainless steel latches compress the neoprene gasket tightly 

when door is closed. Optional lockable latch is also available. Tamper-proof ties permit visual detection of entry, 

while a polycarbonate viewport allows external visual inspection of gauge and contents. For added security, the 

case may be special-ordered without the viewing window. Full length hinge allows door to swing fully open.

Model UHH-1 

ZICO’s helmet holders, models UHH-1 and UHH-2, have been 

tested to 9 g’s and comply with the 2009 edition of NFPA 1901 for 

use inside of crew cabs. It holds traditional, contemporary or 

wildland style helmets. It has been tested to hold helmets both 

vertically and horizontally. To secure the helmet, place the helmet 

against the mount and pull the strap over the crown and secure the 

strap’s “D” ring onto the mount. Removing the helmet is as simple 

as pulling the tab up and sliding strap back down. 

The UHH-1 is designed to work with most helmets. 

The UHH-2 is designed to work with most helmets with a large 

ratcheting strap that protrudes below the helmet.
