The “Safe Automatic Door” teach<strong>in</strong>g module consists of a sw<strong>in</strong>g<strong>in</strong>g door implement<strong>in</strong>g<br />

all <strong>the</strong> operation safety devices required by relevant standards:<br />

@ XUL photoelectric barrier cells with double output contact<br />

@ mobile panel obstruction detection by XUD optic fibres and photoelectric cells<br />

@ mechanical open/close end-of-travel switches<br />

@ door motion <strong>in</strong>dicator lamps<br />

@ safe access zone light<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dicators.<br />

Mechanical motion is controlled by an AC motor with a speed reducer and<br />

an adjustable torque limiter.<br />

The mobile panel is driven by p<strong>in</strong>ion and cha<strong>in</strong> gear with ball bear<strong>in</strong>g rail guides.<br />

Control unit<br />

An <strong>in</strong>dustrial electrical box <strong>in</strong>cludes:<br />

@ <strong>the</strong> standard protection devices: fuse isolator, <strong>the</strong>rmal magnetic circuit<br />

breaker and <strong>the</strong>rmal relay<br />

@ <strong>the</strong> components needed to achieve <strong>the</strong> two operat<strong>in</strong>g modes<br />

@ depend<strong>in</strong>g on <strong>the</strong> version, <strong>the</strong> PLC is a TSX Micro (16I/12O), a Twido<br />

(16I/12O) or a Zelio (12I/8O) module<br />

@ <strong>in</strong> manual mode, door motion and safety devices are controlled by limit<br />

switches<br />

@ <strong>in</strong> automatic mode, <strong>the</strong> motion and safety devices, keyboard access and<br />

signals are controlled by a PLC.<br />
