Medium voltage
Medium-voltage devices can be replaced according to the retrofit or retrofil principle.
In the case of medium-voltage devices manufactured by our competitors, the retrofil solution is the simplest and fastest method
of replacing a customer’s equipment. We can renovate a customer’s original truck and fit it with a Schneider Electric device,
circuit breaker or contactor.
The power connection elements are either renovated or reconditioned.
The devices are then tested for dielectric withstand and overheating and undergo mechanical tests.

Low voltage
The retrofit principle can be used to replace low-voltage devices manufactured by our competitors.
Both the device and its truck can be replaced with a complete Schneider Electric device and the
auxiliaries connections recreated.
With the retrofit solution, as the devices have already been tested,
only a power connection overheating test is carried out.
