Our laboratory analyses the dielectric fluid in your
transformers to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation.
TRANSFO SERVICES offers a full range of SERVICE PACKS
combining a number of analyses. You can choose the analyses
need without being an expert in chemical engineering. Contents
range from a check on fluid quality to a complete check-up on
the condition of your transformer.
PACK PCB
Check the level of contamination of liquid dielectric transformers by PCBs or equivalent and
compliance with environmental legislation (European directive 96/59/CE). (PCB content) (x).
PACK 1
Check the quality of the dielectric fluid based on the transformer efficiency of the transformer.
(For oil, this includes the breakdown voltage, water content, acidity, colour index and general
aspect. For pyralene, all the above plus dielectric dissipation factor and resistivity checks) (x).
PACK 2
Obtain an overall indication of the internal condition of the transformer to prevent electrical
accidents.(PACK 1 (x) and dissolved-gas check).
PACK 2+
Precisely characterise internal transformer faults for enhanced prevention of electrical
accidents. (PACK 1, PCB pack and dissolved-gas content) (x).
PACK 3
Precisely characterise internal transformer faults and the status of the solid insulation
to anticipate any problems with the windings. (PACK 1, dissolved-gas content
and furan-derivatives content) (x).
PACK 4
Complete check-up on the transformer. Characterise suspended matter and polar components
of the dielectric fluid for maximum safety. (PACK 3 (x), metal content, particle counts, tan delta
(x) and resistivity (x)).
