Our laboratory analyses <strong>the</strong> dielectric fluid <strong>in</strong> your<br />

transformers to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation.<br />

TRANSFO SERVICES offers a full range of SERVICE PACKS<br />

comb<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g a number of analyses. You can choose <strong>the</strong> analyses<br />

need without be<strong>in</strong>g an expert <strong>in</strong> chemical eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g. Contents<br />

range from a check on fluid quality to a complete check-up on<br />

<strong>the</strong> condition of your transformer.<br />

PACK PCB<br />

Check <strong>the</strong> level of contam<strong>in</strong>ation of liquid dielectric transformers by PCBs or equivalent and<br />

compliance with environmental legislation (European directive 96/59/CE). (PCB content) (x).<br />

PACK 1<br />

Check <strong>the</strong> quality of <strong>the</strong> dielectric fluid based on <strong>the</strong> transformer efficiency of <strong>the</strong> transformer.<br />

(For oil, this <strong>in</strong>cludes <strong>the</strong> breakdown voltage, water content, acidity, colour <strong>in</strong>dex and general<br />

aspect. For pyralene, all <strong>the</strong> above plus dielectric dissipation factor and resistivity checks) (x).<br />

Obta<strong>in</strong> an overall <strong>in</strong>dication of <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>ternal condition of <strong>the</strong> transformer to prevent electrical<br />

PACK 2+<br />

Precisely characterise <strong>in</strong>ternal transformer faults for enhanced prevention of electrical<br />

accidents. (PACK 1, PCB pack and dissolved-gas content) (x).<br />

PACK 3<br />

Precisely characterise <strong>in</strong>ternal transformer faults and <strong>the</strong> status of <strong>the</strong> solid <strong>in</strong>sulation<br />

to anticipate any problems with <strong>the</strong> w<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs. (PACK 1, dissolved-gas content<br />
