CTO overshoots water collection target By Jun Tarroza Local Revenue Collection Officer IV Maria Bebeth Sarit Cortes of the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) said that her water collections surpassed the quarter target for the current year. During an interview this week, Cortes said that her office has a total collection of P8,034,509, which is 29% higher than the P6.25-million 2011 quarter target. It is also higher by 21.60% than last year’s figures for the same period, which stood at P6,298,996. Cortes said they overshot the quarter target because they gave chance to delinquent water consumers to pay half of their total obligation. They also coordinated very well with Orwasa.
