<strong>in</strong>tegration for some Sou<strong>the</strong>astern European countries<br />

is still rocky and long. However, <strong>the</strong> results of most of<br />

<strong>the</strong> research <strong>in</strong> this publication show that, despite slow<br />

progress, changes and improvements <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> cultural<br />

sphere are already becom<strong>in</strong>g visible. This only proves<br />

that by chang<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>stitutional dynamics, from with<strong>in</strong><br />

and from outside, and by implement<strong>in</strong>g carefully<br />

designed cultural policy, it is possible to foster<br />

<strong>in</strong>tegrative processes and create new structures.<br />
