MILENA DRAGIĆEVIĆ ŠEŠIĆ PhD, is former President of <strong>the</strong> University of<br />
Arts, Belgrade, and Head of <strong>the</strong> UNESCO Chair <strong>in</strong> <strong>Cultural</strong> Policy and Management<br />
(Interculturalism and Mediation <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Balkans). She is a member of <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />
boards: European Diploma <strong>in</strong> <strong>Cultural</strong> Project Management (Foundation Marcel<br />
Hicter, Brussels); <strong>Cultural</strong> Policy Research Award (ECF, Amsterdam). She is author<br />
and co-author of 15 books (Art management <strong>in</strong> turbulent times: adaptable quality<br />
management; Culture: management, animation, market<strong>in</strong>g; Intercultural mediation <strong>in</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Balkans; Neofolk culture; Art and alternative; Urban spectacle; Horizons of read<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
etc.) and <strong>the</strong>se have been translated <strong>in</strong>to 16 languages.<br />

HANNES HOFBAUER studied economic and social history <strong>in</strong> Vienna. His<br />
dissertation (1988) was devoted to <strong>the</strong> recovery of <strong>the</strong> Austrian economy after <strong>the</strong> first<br />
and second world wars. S<strong>in</strong>ce <strong>the</strong>n he has been work<strong>in</strong>g as a journalist, cover<strong>in</strong>g foreign<br />
policy, with a special focus on Eastern and Sou<strong>the</strong>astern Europe. S<strong>in</strong>ce 1990 Hofbauer<br />
has been programme director of <strong>the</strong> Promedia edition house, Vienna. He is author<br />
of various books and articles on Eastern Europe, focus<strong>in</strong>g on <strong>the</strong> chang<strong>in</strong>g position<br />
of <strong>the</strong> region and <strong>the</strong> states <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> world economy, on <strong>the</strong> one hand, and on external<br />
<strong>in</strong>fluences and domestic changes <strong>in</strong> regional self-understand<strong>in</strong>g, on <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r.<br />

JASMINA HUSANOVIĆ received a PhD from <strong>the</strong> Department of International<br />
<strong>Politics</strong>, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. She is a cultural and political <strong>the</strong>orist<br />
and an Associate Professor <strong>in</strong> <strong>Cultural</strong> Studies at <strong>the</strong> Faculty of Philosophy, University<br />
of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegov<strong>in</strong>a. She has published <strong>in</strong> various journals, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Fem<strong>in</strong>ist Theory, Treca, Forum Bosnae, International Fem<strong>in</strong>ist Journal of <strong>Politics</strong>,<br />
International Journal of Human Rights and Millennium. Her last book was Between<br />
Trauma, Imag<strong>in</strong>ation and Hope: Critical essays on cultural production and emancipatory<br />
politics (Belgrade, 2010).<br />
