Brendan’s All-Inclusive Playground Westhoff Park In late 2010, the City of O’Fallon partnered with Unlimited Play, Inc., a local not-for-profi t, to raise funds for O’Fallon’s fi rst all-inclusive playground. The playground, named after O’Fallon resident Brendan Schmitt, is located in the northeast park of the park, now accessible from T.R. Hughes Blvd. It opened in October 2011. St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame T.R. Hughes Ballpark | (636) 379-5502 The Hall of Fame honors local athletes who have achieved longstanding status in softball, baseball, horseshoes, bowling or dartball. See exhibits of sports memorabilia, photos, trophies, pennants, souvenirs, records and awards. Open during River City Rascals home games or by appointment. It encourages and develops the arts by creating public awareness of county arts activities; fosters communication among visual, performing, and literary arts groups; works for common goals in the interest of community art development; sponsors meetings, exhibits, workshops, cooperative displays, art shows; and aids individual members and organizations in their efforts to create art awareness and activities in the county. The St. Charles County Arts Council has existed since 1979; however, has not been a visible player in the local art scene until October 2008, when the Arts Council opened its new offi ce in WingHaven. Their new centralized location provides them with much needed visibility, space for a new gallery, and opportunities to create and sponsor new art events and educational programs.
