Family Birthplace at St. Joseph Hospital West delivers more than 1,300

The SSM Center for Sleep Disorders at St. Joseph Hospital West
opened in November 2009, becoming the newest service available on
the Lake Saint Louis campus. Sleep studies are available seven nights
a week in a comfortable hotel-like setting with private bathrooms and
showers.
The Emergency Department at St. Joseph Hospital West is a statedesignated
Level III Trauma Center, a Get with the Guidelines (GWTG)
Stroke Center and an accredited Chest Pain Center. During peak hours,
emergency patients age 15 and under are quickly moved to a special
kids’ unit called SSM Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Express. St. Joseph
Hospital West also has an inpatient pediatric unit for children who need to
be admitted for additional care.
