EMERGENCY SERVICES O’Fallon Ranked as 2nd Safest City in America The City of O’Fallon is ranked among the safest cites in America, as determined by CQ Press’ publication of City Crime Rankings 2010-2011: Crime in Metropolitan America. This is the third year in a row that O’Fallon has been eligible for the rankings. In 2008, the City ranked as the 3rd safest; 2009, ranked as the country’s 14th safest and in 2010, ranked the 2nd safest. O’Fallon Fire Protection District (636) 272-3493 | www.ofallonfire.org The O’Fallon Fire Protection District was organized in 1906 and has developed into a fi re department consisting of 4 stations manned 24 hours a day, and one volunteer station serving the St. Paul area. The Fire District has an Insurance (I.S.O.) Town Class 4 Rating in all areas having hydrants. It’s highly motivated and dedicated staff of 54 paid employees, 39 Reserve Fire Fighters and 20 Junior Fire Fighters serve a residential population of well over 50,000 persons in an area of 67 square miles. This area includes most of the city limits of O’Fallon, all of St. Paul, portions of Dardenne, Lake St. Louis and St. Peters, as well as several square miles of unincorporated St. Charles County.
