Think Events London Limited is preparing for the annual Wandsworth Oasis Fundraising Gala
Dinner of Saturday 1 st December 2012.
Wandsworth Oasis was set up in the mid 1980s as a local response to the global AIDS epidemic.
The founders were a group of gay men who were losing friends to the disease and saw them
spending their last days without support and subject to a horrible amount of stigma as a result of
a lack of knowledge and understanding about how the disease was transmitted. It was at a time
when the general public genuinely believed AIDS could be contracted by shaking hands.
Wandsworth Oasis is now a small community focused chain of charity shops raising money to
support local people affected by HIV. They give small grants on an annual basis to charities who
work directly with beneficiaries from the area.
In order to help raise additional funds, a Gala Dinner will be held in the Nirvana Lounge at
the luxurious Rafayel on the Left Bank – Hotel & Spa, which is set along the banks of the River
Thames in Battersea SW18 next to the London vertical gateway, London Heliport. This
charity event allows an opportunity to reach out and support this worthwhile cause.
Supported by high profile guests including; the Worshipful the Mayor of Wandsworth,
business executives, celebrities, dignitaries, invited media and members of the public
means this will be a much talked about event within its target audience.
The success of this event is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and
financial support in order to make this a special event. By participating as a sponsor, your
organisation will benefit from extended exposure through local and national media
campaigns. Whilst enjoying excellent exposure you will also have the benefit of knowing
that your organisation is raising the awareness and support being given to people
affected with HIV and AIDS.
We have two levels of sponsorship packages, as detailed in the enclosed sponsorship
form. You can select the level of participation that best meets your needs, and be secure
in the knowledge that your sponsorship fee will help make this a successful fund raising
event.

SPONSOR AGREEMENT
General. The sponsor hereby agrees to sponsor the event Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinner described in the
SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and is incorporated herein by this
reference. The Sponsor agrees to provide to Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnerthe following in-kind services
and/or pay the following fees:
SPONSORSHIP LEVEL__________(insert 1 or 2)
Cost £(insert total)+VAT
In consideration therefore, Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnershall provide Sponsor with the benefits described
in the Proposal. Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnermay adjust such benefits, substitute benefits or provide other
benefits with the approval of the Sponsor.
Payment. payments are due as follows: 50% on or before 29 th September 2012 and the balance due on or
before 20 th October 2012. Failure to pay fees when due may result in termination of this agreement. In-kind
services shall be scheduled in writing by representatives of Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnerand Sponsor.
Limitation of Sponsorship. Unless otherwise provided, the cash or services and the Sponsor benefits
described in this agreement are related solely to the Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnerto be held on Saturday 1 st
December 2012. Assuming the Event is continued in 2013, the Sponsor shall have the first right of refusal to
continue Sponsor's involvement in the Event on such terms as Sponsor and Wandsworth Oasis Gala
Dinnershall agree.
License and Usage. Sponsor hereby grants Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinner a limited, non-exclusive license to
use Sponsor's trade names, trademarks, service marks and other proprietary information [the "Proprietary
Information"] owned by the Sponsor. Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinneragrees that the Proprietary Information
will be used only in connection with the 2012 Event to provide the benefits set forth in the Proposal and such
other benefits as Sponsor and Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnermay agree. Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinneruse
of the Proprietary Information is subject to the approval of the Sponsor's designated representative, which
approval will not be unreasonably withheld.
Sponsor Understandings. Sponsor understands as follows: the pound sterling values set forth in the
Proposal are estimates are based upon general sponsorship information available to Wandsworth Oasis Gala
Dinner; the audience multiplier is based upon estimates of Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnerattendance and
actual attendance figures may vary materially. No portion of the sponsorship cash payment or in-kind services
are subject to being refunded for any reason except as provided herein. Sponsorships are not exclusive unless
otherwise set forth in the Proposal.
Termination.Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnermay terminate this contract on 30 days written notice. In the
event of termination for any reason other than failure to provide contracted fees or services, Wandsworth
Oasis Gala Dinnermay substitute an event with equivalent benefits with the approval of the Sponsor or shall
refund any cash fee received from Sponsor by Wandsworth Oasis Gala DinnerSponsor shall not terminate this
agreement without the approval of Wandsworth Oasis Gala Dinnercommittee.
Amendments. This agreement may be amended only by a written instrument executed by both parties.
Miscellaneous. This agreement is governed by UK law and is binding upon all of the parties' successors and
assigns.
