Would you like to have your students participate in a music festival in which they have an advantage<br />
and also witness several hundred students benefiting from the efforts of your staff!!<br />
The answer to these questions is hopefully a resounding YES!! Benefits such as these can occur in<br />
your district if you host one of the <strong>Iowa</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>Music</strong> Association Festivals during the <strong>2009</strong>-2010<br />
school year. 118 member schools hosted an event during this current school year. They generated<br />
income for their district, provided an advantage for their students by performing on the “home court”,<br />
saved the expense of not having to travel, and provided thousands of <strong>Iowa</strong> high school musicians<br />
with an excellent festival program.<br />
This letter requests your consideration of hosting one of these events during the <strong>2009</strong>-2010 school<br />
year. Indicate your preference of events on the lower portion of this sheet and return it to our office<br />
prior to May 1.<br />
