NEWLY-ELECTED DISTRICT ADVISORY GROUP MEMBERS<br />

terms expiring 2011<br />

Teresa <strong>No</strong>ok is the Superintendent at Villisca Community <strong>School</strong> District and is serving her first term<br />

as a District Advisory Group member. She has been at Villisca since 2004. Prior to that she was at<br />

West Central Valley in Redfield from 2002 through 2004 as junior high school principal, at Clarinda<br />

Academy in Clarinda from 1999 through 2002 as education director, and as English instructor at<br />

Villisca from 1984 through 1999 and at New Market from 1979 through 1983. Teresa received her<br />

undergraduate degree at <strong>No</strong>rthwest Missouri State University, her Master of Arts in English at<br />

NWMSU, and her Education Specialist in Administration degree at NWMSU. In her free time, she<br />

enjoys listening to all forms of music, reading, gardening, and spending time with her nephew, family,<br />

friends, and pets.<br />

Sharon Day is the Pre-school through 12th grade vocal and instrumental instructor for Mormon Trail<br />

Community <strong>School</strong> District in Humeston and Garden Grove, <strong>Iowa</strong>. This is her 20th year in this<br />

district. Singing, playing her flute and piano, and traveling are some of her favorite activities. Church<br />

<strong>Music</strong> as well as school activities keep her thoroughly occupied.<br />

Robert Youngquist is the choral director at Washington Senior <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> in Washington, <strong>Iowa</strong>.<br />

Bob is also the website manager for the <strong>No</strong>rth Central Division of the American Choral Directors<br />

Association as well as the Repertory and Standards Coordinator for the <strong>Iowa</strong> Choral Directors<br />

Association. Bob and his choral director wife, Millie, have two daughters. Heather is a 3rd year grad<br />

student in voice at Indiana University in Bloomington and Holly is a first year music major at<br />

Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.<br />
