Coastline d<strong>at</strong>a are accepted in the form <strong>of</strong> either the USGS Global<br />

Self-consistent Hierarchical High-resolution Shoreline (GSHHS) D<strong>at</strong>abase<br />

file, or a BLN file produced in a previous applic<strong>at</strong>ion for the modeling<br />

domain (it must have correct grid limits and polygon headers). <strong>The</strong><br />

processed coastline (BLN) file for the domain is autom<strong>at</strong>ically cre<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

when the GSHHS d<strong>at</strong>abase is input. No BLN is cre<strong>at</strong>ed when an existing<br />

BLN file is input.<br />
