MDISP integer Method used to compute the horizontal and<br />

vertical dispersion coefficients<br />

1 = computed from values <strong>of</strong> v and w from<br />

the PROFILE.DAT file<br />

2 = computed from v and w which are<br />

calcul<strong>at</strong>ed internally from the<br />

micrometeorological variables (u * , w * , L,<br />

etc.)<br />

3 = PG dispersion coefficients used in RURAL<br />

areas (computed using the ISCST<br />

multi-segment approxim<strong>at</strong>ion) and MP<br />

coefficients used in URBAN areas<br />

4 = same as 3 except PG coefficients computed<br />

using the MESOPUFF II equ<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

5 = CTDM sigmas used for stable and neutral<br />

conditions, for unstable conditions, sigmas<br />

are computed as in MDISP = 3. MDISP = 5<br />

assumes th<strong>at</strong> v and w are read from<br />

PROFILE.DAT file.<br />
