LOGO STANDARDS
The HOME TEAM is comprised of determined and compassionate athletes
who carry out the Covenant House mission through physical endurance
challenges. The team name signifies not only loyalty, commitment of spirit
and camaraderie among the members but also their resolve to provide a
refuge, a safe haven...a home for the suffering children of the street.
The HOME TEAM logo was
designed as a complement to
the Covenant House Brand.
The graphic extending outward 360º
from the logo’s center
energizes the collegiate,
sports font used for the name.
Its purpose is to represent
and inspire athletic endeavours to
help fund and find sanctuaries
for homeless children.

Clear Space and Minimum Size
• Clear space is an area surrounding
the HOME TEAM logo that is free of
text or graphics.
• It helps the logo stand out and keeps
it uncluttered.
• Use the height of “H” in the
HOME TEAM word mark to determine
the clear space around all sides of
the logo.
1. The horizontal logo must be no smaller
than 1” in height.
2. The vertical logo must be no smaller
than 1.1875” in height.
This size has been selected to ensure
easy legibility of the logo.

Tagline Usage
1. The horizontal logo with the tagline is only to
be used when it stands alone and apart from any
editorial content and/or when used by third
parties who advertise on behalf of Covenant House
HOME TEAM.
2. The horizontal logo without the tagline is to
be used as the standard logo to represent
the Covenant House HOME TEAM under all
circumstances except those otherwise identified
above.
3. The vertical logo with the tagline should only be
used when use of the horizontal logo with the
tagline is not optimal.
4. The vertical logo without the tagline should only
be used when use of the horizontal logo without
the tagline is not optimal.

IMPROPER USAGE
1. Do not substitute any fonts.
2. Do not use unauthorized colors.
3. Do not alter the proportion between
the symbol, logotype or tagline,
including the tagline length.
4. Do not add any additional
information/type.
5. Do not place the logo over imagery
that may compromise legibility.
6. The HOME TEAM symbol may be used
by Covenant House International,
on the web and within approved
printed materials, but never without
the full logo being present somewhere
on the same document.
7. Do not replace the tagline with
any other taglines or phrases.
8. Do not skew, condense or stretch
the logo.
