INTRODUCTION Welcome to the MPhil in Economic and Social History. We hope your time here will prove to be both enjoyable and worthwhile. Graduates can sometimes feel disoriented in Cambridge for the first few weeks. This handbook is intended to assist you in settling into the MPhil. For information about contact points within both the university and faculty, library and computing facilities, supervision, graduate training, financial assistance, maps and useful web addresses, please consult the Faculty of History General Graduate Handbook 2010.
