help to those in need

Toyota Financial Services Czech s.r.o. ("TFSCZ") - a captive finance company of
the car manufacturer Toyota and Lexus began to cooperate under its foundation
activities with the Diagnostic Institution of social and nursing care in Tloskov.
TFSCZ provides financial services to end customers of Toyota and Lexus both as
Toyota Financial Services and as Lexus Financial Services. In addition to commercial
activities, TFSCZ devotes considerable attention to its foundation's activities,
specifically providing support for public projects. This is also true for this year,
because TFSCZ became the partner of a Diagnostic Nursing Home (“DÚSP”) in Tloskov
near Neveklov.
DÚSP in Tloskov is a service centre with nationwide importance offering a helping
hand to all who due to their poor health status, particularly people with mental
disabilities, found themselves in a difficult situation. The Institute offers an alternative
housing, daily and advisory services, as well as relief to those who permanently care
for their loved ones with mental disabilities, by providing a temporarily care and
services - as if these people were cared for at home.
While in the past this help included mostly financial assistance, this year TFSCZ
decided to offer a new type of assistance. TFSCZ announced a tender where it
offered an eight-seat minibus Toyota Hiace for a symbolic rental fee of CZK 100
per year. Because DÚSP complied with all TFSCZ criteria for the use of the vehicle
for the next 12 months, the bus was given to DÚSP and will serve its purpose in
Tloskov.

"We are happy that we managed to establish cooperation with a major trading
partner. It is one of the "early starters" to ensure successful operation of our
institution by receiving a multi-source contribution, as well as increase in our visibility,
"says the Institute Director Ing. Antonín Dušek, and adds, "Using the rented vehicle we
will be able to provide our clients transportation services and thus ensure their
participation in various leisure and sports activities - such as swimming classes,
national and international competitions, or we can help to see the performance of our
patient band called "Kabrňáci ". This will help them to get involved in social and public
events and see various public affairs. Clients with severe disabilities or immobility
handicaps will mostly appreciate the convenience and accessibility of this service,
because travelling in public transportation vehicles is often very uncomfortable and
stressful for them. Finally, the new vehicle will help our employees on business or
education trips or when travelling with our clients, "concludes the Director of DÚSP
Mr. Dušek.
However, the use of the rented vehicle does not mean that the cooperation between
the two organizations ends here. TFSCZ plans to participate in social and sporting
events, which are regularly organized by DÚSP Tloskov. Just to mention few, we
should point out to the traditional, three-day annual international sport event for
people with disabilities held in the recreation area of Nová Živohošť , where an
average of 350 people participate together with VIP guests who cooperate in the
preparation of the cultural programme of this event. Further, development and
cooperation shall continue in order to provide mutual benefits to all participants.
