This Delock Card Reader can be connected to a
Power Over eSATA port, a combination of
eSATA and USB. It enables you to read and
write CFast flash drives and to use the complete
SATA transfer rate.
You have two different connecting options:
1. Power Over eSATA port
2. eSATA port + USB port for power supply • Aluminium case

How fast is CFast
Compared to common Compact Flash
(CF)-cards the CFast memory card offers
a considerably higher data transfer rate.
While the PATA-standard (common CFcard)
can reach only a maximum data
transfer rate of 133 MB/s and is
therefore not suitable for new SATA
drives with higher storage density, SATA
3 Gb/s can reach a data transfer rate of
up to 300 MB/s. That complies with the
theoretical maximum transfer rate of
CFast according to the specification.
