The <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
<strong>Honors</strong> <strong>Housing</strong> <strong>Contract</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Application</strong><br />
Academic Year 2008 – 2009<br />
All honors students are invited to apply for on-campus housing for the 2008-2009 academic year. <strong>Honors</strong><br />
housing provides you with more than just a room in which to live. It allows you to participate in a<br />
living/learning community by interacting with other honors students <strong>and</strong> remaining an active participant of<br />
the <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />
Requirements<br />
1. You must be a member of the <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong> <strong>and</strong> be in good st<strong>and</strong>ing<br />
(cumulative gpa = 3.5) to apply for honors housing.<br />
2. You must agree to continue to be appropriately active in the <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong> throughout your<br />
year as a resident of honors housing. At a minimum, you must enroll in one honors course a<br />
year <strong>and</strong> either attend 3 seminars each semester or take an active leadership role in either<br />
the Idea Exchange or the <strong>Honors</strong> Student Advisory Council.<br />
3. You must not have any disciplinary sanctions charged against you from Residence<br />
Education.<br />
Location<br />
Rising honors sophomores, juniors, <strong>and</strong> seniors are eligible to apply for housing in West Grace Student<br />
<strong>Housing</strong>.<br />
Availability<br />
<strong>Honors</strong> housing is limited. Preference is given to students who are active <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong> participants.<br />
I underst<strong>and</strong> the above conditions <strong>and</strong> submit that I am currently eligible for honors housing. In addition, I<br />
agree to remain an active participant of the <strong>Honors</strong> <strong>College</strong> while living in honors housing.<br />
