SINGAPORE, 1 June 2005: Aztech Systems Ltd, a global leader in data and voice
communication products, will showcase its latest products at the CommWorld 2005.
Aztech’s new products will make digital home real with its cutting-edge technologies.
Visitors can view the new products in the company’s booth #D48 at this year’s
CommWorld 2005 which is held at World Trade Center, Manila, Philippines from 2 to 5
June 2005.
Latest Data Communication Products
In the data communication front, Aztech introduced three new products, namely Aztech
DSL605EH ADSL 2/2+ HomePlug Turbo 85Mbps Ethernet USB Combo Router, Aztech
HL105E HomePlug Ethernet Adaptor and Aztech DSL600EVW ADSL2/2+ with VoIP,
802.11g Wireless LAN and 4 Port Ethernet USB Combo Residential Gateway.
Aztech DSL605EH ADSL 2/2+ HomePlug Turbo 85Mbps
Ethernet USB Combo Router is the world’s first integrated
ADSL2+ HomePlug 85Mbps Residential Gateway combining the
latest advances for ADSL with broadband connectivity up to
26Mbps over the telephone lines and providing a central gateway to
distribute data, voice and video throughout the home at a speed up
to 85Mbps via the electrical powerlines. The new all-in-one gateway also comes with
Aztech's easy connect technology that enables instant connectivity without the need to
change a user’s PC settings.
Aztech DSL605EH ADSL 2/2+ HomePlug Turbo 85Mbps Ethernet USB Combo Router is
the ideal gateway to deliver rich multimedia content into homes and offices. Embedded
with Intellon INT5500CS HomePlug® 1.0 Turbo and Texas Instruments AR7 chipsets, it
enables telecom service providers to cost-effectively take advantage of the expanded
broadband pipe into the consumer’s home resulting from the deployment of nextgeneration
ADSL2+ infrastructure and provides whole-house distribution of video and
audio.
Aztech HL105E Homeplug Ethernet Adaptor instantly extends DSL
connections to locations without telephone jacks and provides a robust
backbone for multimedia networking such as TV over IP, higher data
rate broadband sharing, online-gaming, VoIP Calls, wireless LAN
extension, audio/video streaming and transfer, file and application
sharing and network camera LAN extension. It enhances consumers’
digital entertainment experience by enabling distribution of high definite
Audio/Video content at a speed of up to 85 Mbps over the Powerline. It is HomePlug
Turbo compliant and utilises Intellon INT5500 high-speed powerline chipset and patented
PowerPacket OFDM technology.

Aztech DSL600EVW ADSL2/2+ with VoIP, 802.11g Wireless LAN
and 4 Port Ethernet USB Combo Residential Gateway is the latest
6-in-1 high-speed communication device, comprising an integrated
ADSL modem, router, firewall, Wireless 802.11b/g Access Point, 4
Port Ethernet Switch, USB Port and VoIP SIP phone. Users simply
need to connect the device to an existing analog or DECT telephone
to enjoy the benefits of a low-cost VolP call. Data access is provided
via wireless options such as high-speed 802.11b/g or wired options
such as 4 port Ethernet or USB.
This new all-in-one gateway, embedded with Texas Instruments AR7VW Chipset, also
comes with Aztech's easy connect technology that enables instant connectivity without
the need to change a user’s PC settings. Scalable, cost effective, secure and easy to
use, Aztech DSL600EVW also supports higher data transmission rates with its ADSL2,
ADSL2+ and/or Extended Reach-ADSL support. This next generation ADSL provides a
speed of up to 12Mbps and an additional 600 feet reach for ADSL2 and 26Mbps speed
for distance up to 5,000 feet for ADSL2+.
New Voice Communication Products
For the voice communication products, Aztech will be displaying its
new V500DP VoIP DECT phone that integrates VoIP ATA and DECT
into one unique product. It also incorporates Aztech’s proprietary Easy
Connect technology, which makes it easy and effortless for users to
link V500DP to their existing broadband connection.
With Aztech V500DP, users can surf the Internet and chat with a friend
miles apart via the integrated VoIP SIP Gateway for a low cost, saving
nearly up to 95% of IDD charges. Aztech V500DP has an easy-to-use graphical interface
and includes features such as SMS, alarm clock, babycall and phone book with 100
entries. Up to 5 handsets can be registered.
Besides Aztech V500DP, users can also look forward to Aztech S1100
SMS DECT Phone that allows them to send text messages up to 160
characters to mobile phones using normal telephone line. Its black and
white dot matrix LCD displays graphical icons, making it easy for users to
check their message box, call lists and phonebook. Large text ensures easy
reading of messages or looking up a contact to call. Up to 5 handsets can
be registered.
For consumers on the go, they can consider Aztech
PMR5000 Walkie Talkie series, which is a cost
effective and easy to use two-way communication
device. It offers superb sound clarity and has 38 subchannels
“privacy codes” that reduces cross
interference and a Voice Activated feature.
Aztech PMR5000 series, available in assorted colours,
has a communication working range up to 4.5 km in open space. In addition, it also has
an audible ending tone when the transmission has ended, a keypad lock to prevent
settings from accidentally being changed and a battery power indicator. Aztech
PMR5000 series uses four AAA alkaline batteries or a rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride
(NiMH) battery that comes with an optional desktop charger.

Trendy and Stylish Digital Electronic Products
Aztech digital MP3 audio players generated much interest with
their sleek and unique design. The Aztech aFP series, namely
aFP50A, aFP50B, aFP500B and aFP500BX is designed for users
who require mobility, convenience and quality audio in style. They
combine crystal-clear sound with a sleek, innovative design and
easy-to-navigate user interface. Cube-shaped aFP50 series are
affordable and trendy. Its fun loving design, simple interface and a capacity to store
songs up to 512MB will definitely attract the young. This little wonder can also double up
as fashion accessories!
Supporting up to 1 GB, the aFP500 series includes a
host of features to enhance a user’s experience. These
include a six-preset equaliser, FM radio, voice recording
and direct encoding. Music files like MP3 and WMA can
be easily imported to the aFP500 series directly from a
PC using a USB 2.0 connection. They can carry 16 hours of skip free, high-fidelity music.
Served as lifestyle enriching home décor, Aztech
WST1000 and WSW1000 is all-in-one weather
measurement clock device. In addition to its stylish
outlook and user-friendly interface, they are
capable of providing real time weather clock function with year, month,
date, day of week and daily alarm. These weather products also provide
a wide range of weather related information to consumers including indoors and outdoors’
temperature and humidity, 8-hours record of atmospheric pressure and weather forecast
(Sunny/Partly Cloudy/Cloudy/Rainy).
Aztech BBM 1000 Baby Monitor allows parents to move around the
house freely as it keeps track of the baby’s movement every single
moment. Stylish and fully portable, it is a perfect and reliable product for
all parents. It has a 4-transmission channel to minimize cross
interference and a crystal clear audio of up to 100 metres and 30 metres
for outdoors and indoors respectively.
