Outgoing Longwave
Radiation (OLR) Anomalies
During late July-early August 2014,
positive OLR anomalies shifted eastward
from the Indian Ocean, across Indonesia
to near the Date Line.
From late October-November, positive
anomalies have been observed near the
Date Line and over the western Pacific.
Recently, negative anomalies have been
observed from the eastern Indian Ocean
to the western Pacific Ocean.
