10.9 To reinforce the close link between the FCC and DFCCs, an annual<br />
dinner with the DFCC chairmen was held on 2 March 2009 and all DFCC<br />
members were invited to attend the 2009 Fight <strong>Crime</strong> Reception held on 29<br />
October 2009. These gatherings provided opportunities for members of the FCC<br />
and DFCCs to discuss areas of public concern and to exchange views on ways to<br />
combat crime.<br />
