An environment conductive for learning is a primary goal. A classroom is comprised of students and
teachers. Collectively we promote a learning environment.
Food, gum, candy or drinks are not permitted. Clear water is acceptable.
Special accommodations may be considered when asked in advance.
Cell Phones are NEVER permitted in school, nevertheless in class. Behavior that reflects text
messaging and calls should not be displayed. There is a clock in the classroom if you need to know the
time. If there is an emergency, the main office or nurse can permit phone calls.
Bathroom passes are for emergencies only.
It is suggested to use the bathroom during your lunch period and your gym period. If you need to use the
pass, it is at the discretion of the teacher.
On the day of an exam, daily supplies are the student’s responsibility. Pen/Pencil (eraser) and
calculator will not be provided.
If scrap paper (which is not graded) or graph paper is necessary, it will be provided by the teacher. There
is no sharing of any supply during the exam period.
There is a no tolerance policy on cheating. No books or paper may be out.
I will announce prior to the exam if there is a need for a ruler or compass. However, you are allowed to
have it with you, whether it is necessary or not.
Tutoring:
If there are still questions after the homework assignment/classwork is explained, all students are
welcome to tutoring sessions.
