12.7 PUBLIC ENTITY CRIMES. Pursuant to subsection 287.133(2) and (3), Florida
Statutes, a person convicted of a public entity crime may not submit a bid or
proposal for a contract with a public entity for a period of 36 months following
the date of being placed on the convicted vendors list. Contractor, by execution
of this Agreement, certifies that neither Contractor nor any person working for
Contractor pursuant to this Agreement has been placed on the convicted vendor
list within the 36 months prior to execution of this agreement.
12.8 Pursuant to subsection 287.134(2)(a), Florida Statutes, an entity or person who
has been placed on the discriminatory vendor list may submit a bid or proposal
for a contract with a public entity. By execution of this Agreement, Contractor
certifies that it has not been placed on the discriminatory vendor list.
ARTICLE 13
LAW COMPLIANCE
Each party will comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, rules,
regulations and guidelines, related to performance under this Agreement. In particular,
the Contractor verifies and affirms that it is in compliance with all applicable laws or
regulations prohibiting the employment either by contract, subcontract or exchange of
unauthorized aliens in the United States. The FGUA will consider the employment of
unauthorized aliens by any Contractor during the term of the Agreement a violation of
the Immigration and Nationality Act. Such violation shall be cause for unilateral
cancellation of this Agreement by the FGUA.
