Mohammed Kader, P.E.
VP/DIRECTOR, ENGINEERING SERVICES
Mr. Kader has more than 20 years experience in permitting, system design, and
management particularly related to wastewater and stormwater systems in Florida. Mr.
Kader is a registered P.R. in Georgia, Florida, Iowa and Texas.
He is a former employee of Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection and
served 16 years with the Florida state government, including a tenure as director of
wastewater regulation in the Tampa Bay area.
Melisa Rotteveel
COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Ms. Rotteveel is a licensed operator with more than 15 years experience with water
and wastewater operations, and ensures that all U.S. Water projects strictly follow its
environmental compliance credo.
Because of that, facilities managed and operated by U.S. Water since 2003 have
achieved an excellent performance record for compliance sampling that will compare
favorably to any firm in the industry.
G.J. Thabaraj, Ph.D.
ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST
Dr. Thabaraj has more than 32 years experience as an environmental specialist,
including many years as a deputy director of the wastewater division of the Florida
Department of Environmental Protection.
He has authored many of the reuse and wastewater regulations that are in effect and
used by DEP today.
Additional Support
Alex Gajewski and William Harrison would provide additional support to a Village of
Islamorada team.
Mr. Gajewski is a licensed wastewater operator while Mr. Harrison is a certified vacuum
specialist. Both are already assigned to U.S. Water’s Florida Keys operational unit.
