Gerald M. Cox LEAD PROJECT DESIGNER Mr. Cox has more than 33 years of experience in all levels of construction. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, encompassing multiple trades in both domestic and international markets. His experience ranges from procurement to final completion (including estimating) of projects with a contract magnitude ranging from five to seven figures. Mr. Cox has experience in projects constructed for numerous agencies such as NASA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority, as well as state and local governments in Florida. U.S. Water Services Corporation Gary Deremer PRESIDENT, CEO, OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL DIRECTOR A licensed underground utility contractor, water and wastewater utility operator and co-founder, Mr. Deremer has more than 26 years of experience, including significant work in the Florida Keys since 1999. He is known for his technical ability and has led the U.S. Water team in facility diagnostics. As such, U.S. Water has been requested by regulatory authorities to analyze problem facilities and put in place corrective measures. • Assisted the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority in providing proper analysis of the condition and operating status of the Little Venice Wastewater Treatment Plant in 2005. • Analyzed and resolved the City of West Palm Beach’s highly publicized water quality problems in 2008 and 2009, as requested by the Palm Beach County Health Department. • Provided technical analysis support to the Islamorada NPK startup in 2006 as well as diagnostic evaluation of subsequent functional problems that prevented the vacuum system from operating properly. • Provided functional analysis and recommendations regarding the Zenon facility for Colony Key in 2010. David B. Schultz, Sr. SENIOR VP/ASSET MANAGEMENT As an engineer and seasoned utility expert, Mr. Schultz is intimately familiar with the utility operating environment of Florida. He has had direct wastewater management experience within the state, and large-scale past wastewater experience across the southeast. He has successfully managed projects with construction budgets of $400 million. Victoria Penick SENIOR VP/FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION A co-founder of U.S. Water Services, Ms. Penick has 28 years of direct experience in all aspects of business administration including business development, financial management, utility operation and underground utility construction project control.
