David E. Mahler PROJECT ENGINEER Mr. Mahler has been involved with treatment facility improvements, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, collection and distribution system design, and modeling. He also has been involved in utility line extension and relocation projects for both municipal and private clients. Mr. Mahler specializes in relocation of existing utilities associated with roadway projects. He also has been involved with land development and roadway design and permitting for clients. He has more than 20 years experience in consulting engineering experience in both municipal government and private industry. Recent Projects: • State Road 50 Utility Relocation – Orange County Utilities • State Road 426 – Oviedo, Fla. • Universal Boulevard Force Main – Orange County Utilities Amy Daly ENVIRONMENTAL Mrs. Daly has more than 17 years of environmental resource assessments, habitat mapping, jurisdictional determinations, wetland functional analyses, protected wildlife surveys and management programs, and environmental resource permitting. She has designed and performed behavioral monitoring programs for bald eagle, Florida scrub jay, red-cockaded woodpecker, crested caracara, gopher tortoise and the sandhill crane. She also has extensive experience in developing, permitting and marketing regional mitigation banks. Benjamin M. Fries TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN Mr. Fries has worked with CPH since 1986, specializing in environmental engineering projects. His work has included master planning, design, permitting and construction of water, wastewater, reclaimed water, wastewater collection system, sludge management systems and water quality modeling projects for numerous municipal and private clients. He has participated in water and wastewater planning activities, with special emphasis on advanced water and wastewater treatment, corrosion control, water reclamation, chemical and biological processes, sludge management systems, process kinetics, and issues for all of CPH’s municipal and private clients. Recent Projects: • Sanford North/Sanford South Water Reclamation Facilities – Sanford, Fla. • Casselberry Water Reclamation Facility – Casselberry, Fla. • Volusia County Southeast/Southwest Water Reclamation facilities • Mayport Naval Station Wastewater Treatment Plant John A. Baer PROJECT ARCHITECT Mr. Baer has more than 30 years of project management/architectural experience. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects with a specialty ranging from retail/ office planning and industrial/warehouse facilities to medial offices and assisted living/nursing homes.
