• Broadband Solutions Division A driving force in acquiring and managing broadband federal stimulus dollars for local government in Florida. Created two governmental entities – The North Florida Broadband Authority and the Florida Rural Broadband Alliance – to build middle-mile broadband infrastructure using $53 million in grants, which will serve 40 percent of the state. CPH Engineers, Inc. While founded in its current form in 1981, CPH Engineers has provided engineering services to clients throughout since the 1960s. It provides service for more than 40 water and wastewater systems including new treatment plants, expansions, technology upgrades, and regional water supply solutions. This includes design, permitting and construction administration services for utility infrastructure projects with pipe sizes ranging from 4 inches to 54 inches in diameter for more than 300 miles of pipeline projects. • Phase I Collection System – Islamorada, Fla. Provided analysis and subsequent redesign of three specific vacuum collection mains. Redesign included not just improvements to subject areas, but development of replacement and removal plan to minimize impact on existing customers within the service area. Key Personnel David A. Provided planning, design, permitting and construction engineering inspection services during the construction of an innovative vacuum sewer collection system resulting in the separation of the existing combined sewer/stormwater collection system.
