Trading Terms<br />
Minimum Delivery<br />
We reserve the right not to deliver an order (ambient, chilled, frozen,<br />
<strong>non</strong> <strong>food</strong> and butchery), which is valued at less than £75.<br />
Split Charges<br />
In order to meet your ordering needs, we <strong>are</strong> pleased to be able to split<br />
many <strong>of</strong> our products. Please see product in<strong>for</strong>mation to see if a<br />
particular item can be split. We may make an additional charge, if you<br />
order substantial amounts <strong>of</strong> “split” <strong>items</strong>. All split charges <strong>are</strong> available<br />
upon request.<br />
Ordering hours<br />
The sales <strong>of</strong>fice is open between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to<br />
Friday. All orders received be<strong>for</strong>e 5.00pm will be delivered the next day,<br />
if you <strong>are</strong> scheduled to be delivered on <strong>that</strong> day. Orders taken on a<br />
Friday, will be delivered on the next Monday, unless you have been<br />
scheduled <strong>for</strong> a Saturday delivery. Please see page 4 <strong>for</strong> our enhanced<br />
services.<br />
Returns<br />
Our drivers <strong>are</strong> not authorised to accept goods <strong>for</strong> return without either<br />
authorised documentation or authority from the sales <strong>of</strong>fice. However,<br />
damaged goods can be returned on the day <strong>of</strong> the delivery with the<br />
delivering driver. Chilled, Frozen, Meat and Fresh Fruit/Veg products<br />
from previous deliveries cannot be authorised <strong>for</strong> return in any<br />
circumstances.<br />
Payment Terms<br />
All accounts and outstanding balances must be settled in full by the<br />
15th <strong>of</strong> the month following the invoice date. In the case <strong>of</strong> an account<br />
being in arrears, we reserve the right to withhold further supplies. If<br />
credit terms have not been established, payment on delivery is required.<br />
Ownership <strong>of</strong> goods<br />
<strong>Turner</strong>-<strong>Price</strong> Ltd retains the full title and ownership <strong>of</strong> <strong>all</strong> goods supplied<br />
to our customers until full payment is received.<br />
All risks in the goods pass to the purchaser on delivery.<br />
Delivery cages and p<strong>all</strong>ets remain the property <strong>of</strong> <strong>Turner</strong>-<strong>Price</strong> Ltd at <strong>all</strong><br />
times. We reserve the right to charge any customer <strong>for</strong> the <strong>non</strong> return <strong>of</strong><br />
any cages or p<strong>all</strong>ets.<br />
Shortages<br />
<strong>Turner</strong>-<strong>Price</strong> Ltd cannot guarantee <strong>that</strong> we will be able to deliver <strong>all</strong><br />
goods ordered. If a particular product is out <strong>of</strong> stock, we will endeavour<br />
to find a suitable alternative or in<strong>for</strong>m you when you will be able to<br />
receive the goods you ordered.<br />
The exact number <strong>of</strong> goods delivered must be checked in the presence<br />
<strong>of</strong> the delivering driver. Claims <strong>for</strong> shortages must be made at the time<br />
<strong>of</strong> delivery. Claims must be made to the sales <strong>of</strong>fice on the day <strong>of</strong><br />
delivery, otherwise any claim becomes void.<br />
Pricing<br />
Up to date prices <strong>are</strong> always available if you contact our sales <strong>of</strong>fice.<br />
If in doubt, please ask <strong>for</strong> prices be<strong>for</strong>e ordering.<br />
<strong>Price</strong>s <strong>are</strong> fixed on the date <strong>of</strong> delivery and not the date when they<br />
were ordered. <strong>Price</strong>s charged on invoice <strong>are</strong> final.<br />
VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate on goods, where applicable.<br />
