Lesja bygdemuseum
Lesja bygdemuseum tilbyr opplevelser utenom det vanlig. I idylliske omgivelser
kan du daglig oppleve håndverk og aktiviteter demonstrert av dyktige og
engasjerte personer. I eldhuset kan du smake lokalt bakverk, mens de minste kan
kose seg på lekeplassen, støpe egne tinnsoldater eller klappe dyra en finner rundt
på museet. Det er to kafeer på museet. I vår moderne og engasjerende utstilling
kan du se villreinfangstens spennende utvikling. Utstillingen omhandler ikke bare
fangsten, men også dem som drev fangsten, hvordan byttet ble brukt og hvilket
samfunn den skapte. Museet åpent medio juni - medio august. Hele året ved
forhåndsbestilling.
Lesja village museum {english}
Lesja village museum offers an out-of-the-ordinary experience. In idyllic surroundings
you can on any day experience handicrafts and activities demonstrated by
skilled and enthusiastic individuals. In the bakehouse you can taste local baking,
whilst the youngest can enjoy themselves in the play area, cast their own tin
soldiers or stroke the animals that are to be found around the museum. There are
two cafes at the museum. In our modern and interesting exhibition you can see
the exciting development of wild reindeer hunting. The exhibition is concerned
not just with the actual hunt but also with those who were involved in it, how
the catch was used and what kind of society it created. The museum is open from
mid-June to mid-August. All year round by prior booking.
