European Wushu Grading System (EWGS)
Dear Team Leaders and Athletes,
In order to stimulate the development of the EWGS, as agreed by EWUF
Congress, and in response of traditional wushu practitionerʼs requests, the
EWUF Executive Committee decided to organize an Exceptional
Introductory EWGS Duan (adults) and Ji (children) grading examination.
This will take place during the 2 nd European Traditional Wushu
Championships.
On this special occasion, every traditional wushu practitioner can apply
to qualify for their 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd duan (or ji) level in relation to their
actual performance. Those deemed worthy shall then be given the
opportunity to formalise the grading.
The EWUF traditional wushu community shall have this opportunity only
every 2 years during the European Traditional Wushu Championships. In
the future the full fee shall apply. This is a very special opportunity.
On this special occasion, to promote Wushu development the cost of passing
the examination shall be at the special reduced price of 60€ (the normal
price is 100€ for 1 st and 2 nd duan and 200€ for 3 rd duan).
